Whiteriver Az. White Mountain Apache

This is White Mountain Apache Reservation and we've been at the Hope Center for the past 2 weeks with Pastors Veldon & Deborah Clendon. They were in need of a new roof, the Lord put it on the Reeders heart from the Crystal Springs Chapel to see that need was met! Hallelujah, Randell and his son Corrie Reeder and David Cooper and a couple of volunteers from a Virginia Team that was here at the same time put the roof on!

White Mountain Apache Reservation, Whiteriver Az

Pastors Deborah and Veldon Clendon run the Mission Center in Whiteriver, Arizona, located on the White Mountain Apache Reservation. They established a homeless shelter for the winter season in response to fatalities from the cold in previous months. They distribute food daily, provide meals on Sundays, and also hold church services on the same day. When we first met Deborah and Veldon it felt like we have known each other all of our lives. We have delivered a load of food and clothing and will be bringing another load next week.

Payson Az With Pastor Tim McDonald

Our encounter with Pastor Tim McDonald was not coincidental. Departing from Whiteriver, David felt compelled to visit Payson, AZ. Arriving on a Monday, we sought a church service online and discovered The Church of the Nations. Working with First Nations, David reached out. Pastor Tim, on the line, learned we hailed from Henryetta, OK, and sought a service that evening. He invited us to join at 7 PM, sensing a connection. That night, a Recovery Night, Pastor Tim shared that his cousin, Jack Vance, a Baptist preacher from Henryetta, was known to us. We had worshipped in Brother Jack's church before his passing—a truly godly man. His widow, Sister Donna Vance, resides in the retirement village where I worked. We spent the week, joined the Sunday service, shared our testimony, and witnessed a profound move of God and numerous miracles. We are grateful to Jesus for guiding us to Payson, introducing us to wonderful people who felt like lifelong friends. We eagerly anticipate our return.

American Indian Church

Pastors Vincent and Vermaleen Stevens, along with Pastor Miles, have initiated a food program here, distributing food daily to those in need. Vermaleen mentioned that sometimes people walk up to five miles to receive food, and typically, someone comes every day for it. Through partnerships, we've managed to set up a monthly food distribution for them. Additionally, a recent wildfire has destroyed many homes, leaving the community devastated. On our last visit, we provided them with tents and tarps. Please keep them in your prayers!
